Prevention is central in our fight against infectious diseases, and vaccination helps ensure people can continue to lead healthy lives. According to a study in The Lancet, vaccines for ten pathogens, including hepatitis B virus, HPV and measles, will have prevented an estimated 69 million deaths between 2000 and 2030.
