Conferences we’ll be at over the next 6 months!

We’re looking forward to seeing you at upcoming conferences, meetings and events this year!

We’ll be giving presentations, workshops and manning booths across the globe and we’d love to meet you and give you an update on the latest product developments, partnerships and integrations we’ve been working on, including IOP Publishing, the Association of University Presses, Amazon and many more!

Here’s where we’ll be:

ISMPP European meeting, 23rd – 24th January, London, UK

Ben McLeish will be in attendance at this year’s ISMPP European Meeting. Message Ben on Twitter or email him if you’d like to speak to him during the meeting. Digital Science will also be manning a booth so do pay them a visit if you’d like to know more about Altmetric tool and data

Altmetrics for Research Outputs Measurement and Scholarly Information Management (AROSIM), 26th January, Singapore

Stacy Konkiel will be attending and giving the keynote presentation at this year’s AROISM conference. Altmetric will also be sponsoring the Best Paper Award which will be presented during the conference. Email or message Stacy on Twitter if you’d like to book a chat.

Responsible use of Bibliometrics in Practice, 30th January, London, UK

Euan Adie will be giving a presentation on the responsible use of metrics during the morning sessions at the LIS-Bibliometrics conference at the end of January.

Digital Science Showcase Week – Altmetric User Day (Half Day), 2nd February, Victoria, Australia

Join us for our free user day event during the Digital Science showcase week! The afternoon will include workshops on our latest product developments and how our tools and data support early career researchers along with case study talks from some of our Australian customers.

Visit the Digital Science booth and pick up some swag at this year’s Higher Education Strategic Planners Association conference at the University of Strathclyde.

2018 ALA Midwinter, 9th -13th February, Colorado, USA

Sara Rouhi will be taking part in the ‘Science & Technology Publisher/Vendor Relations Discussion Group’ panel session at 8.30am on Sunday 11th February as well as speaking at the first meeting of the Research Assessment and Metrics group on Monday 12th February at 9am. eResearch NZ 2018, 12-14 February, Queenstown, NZ

MAPS 2018 Annual Meeting, 25th – 27th February, Miami, Florida

Sara Rouhi will be giving a presentation with LaVerne Mooney, Director of Publications at Pfizer, on ‘Measuring the impact of medical information’. 60th NFAIS Annual Conference, 28th February – 2nd March, Washington, USA

Heidi Becker, Digital Solutions Specialist, and Sara Rouhi will be presenting a lightning talk at this year’s NFAIS Annual Conference in Washington. Email Sara or Heidi if you’d like to meet them.

13th Annual ER&L Conference, 4th – 7th March, Texas, USA

Lily Troia will be presenting a poster, titled ‘Who’s talking about our research? Using altmetrics to inform strategic outreach and communications at your institution’, at this year’s ER&L conference. UKSG 41st Annual Conference and Exhibition, 9th – 11th April, Glasgow, UK

Euan Adie will be chairing a panel session exploring the potential impacts of Brexit on research collaboration in the UK: ‘Fostering and protecting cultures of collaboration: the impact of Brexit on the roles of libraries and publishers’.

ICOH2018, 29th April – 4th May, Dublin, Ireland

Max Lum, Director of the Centre for Disease Control & Prevention, will be presenting a session on ‘Using new metrics to evaluate digital communications impact’ featuring Altmetric data.

14th Annual meeting of the ISMPP, 30th April – 2nd May, Maryland, USA

10th Annual NORDP Research Development Conference, 7th – 9th May, Virginia, USA

Library Publishing Forum 2018, 21st -23rd May, Minnesota, USA

CARA 2018 Annual Conference, 27th – 30th May, Ontario, Canada

Stacy Konkiel will be giving a presentation on tracking the path of research to public policy on the social web. Ulisse Gallo, Senior Solutions Manager at Digital Science, will be joining Stacy at the conference. Feel free to email Stacy or Ulisse to schedule in a meeting.

SSP 40th Annual Meeting, 30th May – 1st June, Chicago, USA

Mike Taylor will be presenting a session on ‘Books, Metrics and Research Evaluation’ at and digital science will have a booth at this year’s SSP Annual meeting in Chicago.

INORMS 2018, 4th – 7th June, Edinburgh, Scotland
