A fused ring conjugated energetic molecule, 4-amino-3,7-dinitro-[1,2,4]triazolo[5,1-c] [1,2,4]triazine (TTX), was synthesized in good yield in a two-step process starting from the known 5-amino-3-nitro-1H-1,2,4-triazole (ANTA). Characterization of TTX shows that it possesses energetic properties approaching those of RDX but a higher thermal stability and lower sensitivities towards impact and friction.
This research output has an Altmetric Attention Score of 13. This is our high-level measure of the quality and quantity of online attention that it has received. This Attention Score, as well as the ranking and number of research outputs shown below, was calculated when the research output was last mentioned on 14 August 2020.
All research outputs
#3,649,799
of 34,361,833 outputs
Outputs from Chemistry - A European Journal
#1,252
of 29,575 outputs
Outputs of similar age
#53,744
of 459,926 outputs
Outputs of similar age from Chemistry - A European Journal
#29
of 557 outputs
Altmetric has tracked 34,361,833 research outputs across all sources so far. Compared to these this one has done well and is in the 89th percentile: it's in the top 25% of all research outputs ever tracked by Altmetric.
So far Altmetric has tracked 29,575 research outputs from this source. They receive a mean Attention Score of 4.1. This one has done particularly well, scoring higher than 95% of its peers.
Older research outputs will score higher simply because they've had more time to accumulate mentions. To account for age we can compare this Altmetric Attention Score to the 459,926 tracked outputs that were published within six weeks on either side of this one in any source. This one has done well, scoring higher than 88% of its contemporaries.
We're also able to compare this research output to 557 others from the same source and published within six weeks on either side of this one. This one has done particularly well, scoring higher than 94% of its contemporaries.
