Was able to successfully reproduce all of the screenshots in this paper. My setup is: iMac 2015 running the latest Mac OSX (El Capitan) on Google Chrome...

In my lab it works in one computer and not in the other so it must be a computer specific issue and nothing to do with the database itself. You should apologize Unreg1.
