In 2001, the members of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) were surveyed regarding their approach to treating idiopathic clubfoot deformity. Since that time, several studies have advocated a change in the approach to treating this deformity, moving away from surgical release and toward less invasive methods. The purpose of this study was to assess the recent approach to treating clubfoot among the POSNA membership.
This research output has an Altmetric Attention Score of 5. This is our high-level measure of the quality and quantity of online attention that it has received. This Attention Score, as well as the ranking and number of research outputs shown below, was calculated when the research output was last mentioned on 08 July 2012.
All research outputs
#8,483,811
of 29,624,838 outputs
Outputs from Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics
#391
of 2,790 outputs
Outputs of similar age
#54,325
of 186,869 outputs
Outputs of similar age from Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics
#4
of 50 outputs
Altmetric has tracked 29,624,838 research outputs across all sources so far. This one has received more attention than most of these and is in the 71st percentile.
So far Altmetric has tracked 2,790 research outputs from this source. They receive a mean Attention Score of 3.8. This one has done well, scoring higher than 85% of its peers.
Older research outputs will score higher simply because they've had more time to accumulate mentions. To account for age we can compare this Altmetric Attention Score to the 186,869 tracked outputs that were published within six weeks on either side of this one in any source. This one has gotten more attention than average, scoring higher than 70% of its contemporaries.
We're also able to compare this research output to 50 others from the same source and published within six weeks on either side of this one. This one has done particularly well, scoring higher than 92% of its contemporaries.
