Abstract

to assess the procedures production of screening, diagnostic investigation and precursor lesions treatment for cervical cancer in the Brazilian National Health System (SUS). normative evaluation with calculation of estimates of need based on national screening guidelines in two scenarios: organized (1) and opportunistic (2) screening; data were obtained from the SUS Ambulatory Care Information System and the Cervical Cancer Information System. considering the scenario 1, the production of cytopathologic exams (-46,9%) and biopsies (-44.9%) was below the necessary in Brazil, whereas colposcopy (61.3%) and precursor lesions treatments (37.4%) were above; in scenario 2, biopsies were below the necessary (-48.5%) whilst colposcopy (193.9%) and precursor lesions treatments (28.4%) were above. there were deficits in cytopathologic exams and biopsies and excess of colposcopies and treatment of precursor lesions in Brazil.

Attention Score in Context

Attention Score in Context

This research output has an Altmetric Attention Score of 10. This is our high-level measure of the quality and quantity of online attention that it has received. This Attention Score, as well as the ranking and number of research outputs shown below, was calculated when the research output was last mentioned on 05 March 2018.
All research outputs
#4,050,877
of 28,815,917 outputs
Outputs from Epidemiologia e Serviços de Saúde
#38
of 479 outputs
Outputs of similar age
#69,383
of 351,147 outputs
Outputs of similar age from Epidemiologia e Serviços de Saúde
#2
of 18 outputs
Altmetric has tracked 28,815,917 research outputs across all sources so far. Compared to these this one has done well and is in the 85th percentile: it's in the top 25% of all research outputs ever tracked by Altmetric.
So far Altmetric has tracked 479 research outputs from this source. They receive a mean Attention Score of 3.5. This one has done particularly well, scoring higher than 92% of its peers.
Older research outputs will score higher simply because they've had more time to accumulate mentions. To account for age we can compare this Altmetric Attention Score to the 351,147 tracked outputs that were published within six weeks on either side of this one in any source. This one has done well, scoring higher than 80% of its contemporaries.
We're also able to compare this research output to 18 others from the same source and published within six weeks on either side of this one. This one has done well, scoring higher than 88% of its contemporaries.
