An article from @JASN_News on how the discovery and validation of two urinary exosomal mRNA multigene signatures showed high predictive performances + offer clinicians the possibility of new tools for monitoring emergence of rejection in kidney allografts.
In assessment of kidney allograft rejection EVs are enriched in proteins involved in inflammation and immune response. EV multigene mRNA signatures have been developed that are predictive of all-cause rejection, and can distinguish TCMR from ABMR @azzilab

A recent study (El Fekih, et al. JASN, Mar 2021) shows how mRNA signatures derived from urinary exosomes can potentially be used as a noninvasive screening test for kidney allograft rejection: https://t.co/aJfqlKgSOx https://t.co/59Rwx14vwm
