The Internet Management Committee in Brazil has the attribution of establishing strategic guidelines related to the use and development of the Internet in Brazil and guidelines for the execution of the registration of Domain Names, allocation of IP Address (Internet Protocol) and administration pertinent to the Domain of First ".br" level. It also promotes studies and recommends procedures for Internet security and proposes research and development programs that allow the maintenance of the level of technical quality and innovation in the use of the Internet.
