Abstract

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease encompasses a spectrum of histopathological changes that range from simple steatosis to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. Works suggest that iron (Fe) deposits in the liver are involved in the physiopathology of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.
