Hats off to @FiebergJohn for using a headache analogy in a J. Wildlife Mgmt paper: "Most relationships in the real world are nonlinear. Taking 20 aspirins for a headache will not cure it 10 times as fast or as well as would 2 aspirins." (page 713) https://
