Comparing methods used by the U.S. Geological Survey Coastal and Marine Geology Program for deriving shoreline position from lidar data

We compared lidar-derived shorelines using three methods for a simple beach and a complex beach. For the simple beach, the three methods gave very similar results. For the complex beach - it's complicated.
