In a study among young, well-educated Poles (N=815), I find that the sampled women (76.1%) are far more supportive of the EU than men (54.8%). In addition, women (76%) see also more personal benefits from EU membership than men (62.7%). https://t.co/9OVQR4
In light of Poland's new abortion law, here is my article on gendered EU attitudes among PL students. Important reasons for gendered positive EU views are the domestic conservative climate, anti-feminist policies, and re-traditionalisation of roles. htt
