IO study: Territorial conquest hasn't subsided after 1975. Rather than conquer entire states, they seek to conquer parts of territory. Attempts at conquest pre1945 started with war, then sought to occupy large territories. Today, conquest starts with seizing small regions, then attempt to avoid war.
