Worrying figures released by @TheLancet showing the consequences of people avoiding healthcare because of #COVID19, which could result in 3500 potentially avoidable deaths. If you have any concerns, or things just don’t feel right, please contact your GP.
This modelling study estimated the impact of delays in diagnosis on cancer survival outcomes in four major tumour types. It used cancer registration and hospital administrative datasets of patients diagnosed with breast, colorectal and oesophageal cancer.
