Minocycline does not affect experimental pain or addiction-related outcomes in opioid maintained patients

I am in two minds about this study. It is nice to see clinical translation of glial hypotheses in opioid and addiction fields. BUT a simple look at minocycline’s PK/PD says this study would fail in humans. We need better glial targeted meds. #glia #science
