Agreed, nice piece! Always great to see care in separating out issue adoption to make claims about issue voting. But still, both could be at play, and same gov't business regulation q was asked in 2011 and 2016--would be good to check attitude change here

Check out this new POQ article by my post-doc, Greg Lyon. Very cool piece (using VSG data) showing that attitudes related to working conditions measured in 2011 were strong predictors of voting for Sanders over Clinton in the 2016 primary (issues matter!)
