In Finland, 48.1% of pig tails were fully intact, 37.3% were healed, 12.4% minor acute wounds, & 2.3% major acute wounds (n=10.000 tails from 84 herds). Wood was good, eps when visibly used; health problems, esp lameness other than arthritis, was bad.
