Finally, other scholars like @jon_mellon contest the evidence that survey nonresponse bias inflates estimates of voter polarization. As an implication, declining poll response rates shouldn't necessarily lead to an overestimating of pro-immigration change

Some positive news if you're concerned about nonresponse. It may not bias the measurement of polarization significantly. Not sure though how findings based on ANES can be generalized to lower quality/regular surveys. @The_JOP https://t.co/jt7GkQdAQg
