@JamesMelville Here's an article in the BMJ from 2020 regarding this: https://t.co/YMxJMTkjfA there are plenty more articles dated 2020 regarding vit D.
To get your vitamin D fix, step outside rather than stepping into a pharmacy. There is no strong scientific evidence to show that very high intakes of vitamin D will be beneficial in preventing or treating COVID-19 https://t.co/r3OQAshZgc
@glueckseidank @NickyAnnB_ Danke.
@Geminifty You're wrong. Here's a study. There's no evidence of Vitamin D being effective to treat or prevent COVID. https://t.co/6pagLpIlOW

"In conclusion, we recommend appropriate vitamin D RCTs to evaluate the effects of vitamin D supplementation on COVID-19 infections."
With growing evidence showing a correlation between vit D deficiency and COVID infection rates, it should be noted that the NHS recommends vit D supplements in autumn and winter. However, lack of RCTs necessitate further investigation into causation. htt

Vitamin D is essential for good health, especially bone and muscle health. Many people have low blood levels of vitamin D, especially in winter or if confined indoors, because summer sunshine is the main source of vitamin D for most people. https://t.co/md

To get your vitD fix, step outside rather than stepping into a pharmacy. VitD is essential for good bone & muscle health, but there's no strong scientific evidence to show that very high intakes will be beneficial in preventing or treating COVID-19. ht
@koskilla_cl @DoctorPurto Sí, en abril y en mayo/junio eso ya fue descartado https://t.co/K7jnaujqpi
While evidence doesn’t support that high intake is protective, being deficient in Vitamin D may increase risk for #COVID19 infection and mortality. Although mixed evidence, adequate daily vitamin D intake, like masking, is a low-cost preventation measure.
