Yotam Sofer (CBS) showcases a study on the role of social media in the diffusion of scientific knowledge, leveraging Altmetric data to trace the online reach of research. He also presents a project exploring how research autonomy influences the early career choices of PhD graduates, using Dimensions data to track research activity and institutional environments. Davide Cannito (CBS) compliments these insights by highlighting the data infrastructure work that enables these projects—focusing in particular on how Altmetric data can be creatively integrated with confidential administrative sources to unlock new research potential.
