São Paulo State University signs deal to use Altmetric Explorer for Institution

The São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil, has inked a deal to integrate Altmetric Explorer for Institution. This move aims to support UNESP’s faculty and staff in enhancing their research and reporting capabilities.

UNESP,  one of South America’s largest universities with 24 campuses throughout Brazil’s São Paulo region, is among three public universities overseen by the state government. Offering a wide array of courses spanning theoretical and experimental sciences such as Engineering, Health, Communications, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Arts, UNESP can now leverage Altmetric to showcase the influence of its leading research. By doing so, UNESP is committed to benefiting the communities and stakeholders it serves.

Cat Williams, Managing Director of Altmetric, expressed excitement about collaborating with UNESP, recognizing the institution’s pivotal role in Brazil. She emphasized Digital Science’s dedication to supporting UNESP in fostering a positive learning environment conducive to the creation and dissemination of knowledge, art, and culture by faculty, staff, and students alike.
